Stereophonics will play a host of new songs during their summer festival appearances, frontman Kelly Jones has revealed.
Speaking to XFM, Jones said that the bands new material would draw from a broad sound spectrum.
"One side is really heavy and there's one side which is not,” he said. “But it's going good and [bassist] Richard [Jones] has been writing songs too."
Jones said the band would be “auditioning” the songs during their appearances at Oxegen in Dublin and T in the Park festival.
It’s not clear whether the new material will develop into a new album from the group, who released their latest LP ‘Pull The Pin’ last autumn.
