Rod Stewart 'Requests Oxygen Tanks' On Tour

Rod Stewart’s rider requests that two oxygen tanks are available backstage at every concert, according to reports.

The singer’s unusual request was unearthed by promoters at a festival in Norway, who said that the singer wanted “two first aid type oxygen kits”.

"The oxygen kits had everyone talking,” the source told the Mirror newspaper.

"It wasn't the sort of thing that you'd expect but he is such a star that anything goes and we were more than happy to oblige."

According to the newspaper, Stewart’s ’30-page rider’ also asks that he is provided with 48 size-5 footballs to kick into the crowd and £8,000 worth of food per day for crew.
