Popular Brighton indie outfit Help She Can't Swim have decided to split up after five years.
The south coast foursome, whose second album 'Death of Nightlife' was released last May, announced the decision on their myspace blog with a message for their fans.
"We are sad to announce that Help She Can't Swim are no more. Some of you may have noticed we have been inactive for a little while now and we have decided not to continue with the band.
"There are a lot of things that the four of us need to do personally that being in the band does not allow.
"We would like to thank everyone who has shown us support, bought our records, come to the shows, said or written nice things about us or had any positive influence on this band over the years. We couldn't have done it without you.
"We will keep the myspace page updated with the new music we are making post-HSCS. Lots of love, Team Help."
