Kaiser Chiefs played the biggest headlining show of their career last night (May 24th) at Elland Road, the home of Leeds United football club.
The band kicked off their performance in front of a 35,000 capacity sell out crowd with ‘Everything Is Average Nowadays’.
Many of the band, including frontman Ricky Wilson, wore the colours of Leeds United – who play in the League 1 playoff final at Wembley today (May 25th).
Ryan Jarman of the Cribs and Mark Ronson, who is producing their third album, joined the band during the performance.
In addition to fan favourites from their two albums, Kaiser Chiefs also aired a number of new songs, including ‘You Want History’ and ‘Half The Truth’.
The band’s 19-song set came to a conclusion with an anthemic performance of their biggest hit ‘Oh My God’.
