Amy Winehouse arrived too late to receive her Ivor Novello award in London this afternoon, a spokesperson has confirmed.
The singer arrived "literally as the award was being given to her dad," a spokesperson told the BBC.
Winehouse, who was nominated for three prizes, won just the one award for her song ‘Love Is A Losing Game’.
Talking to the BBC, Winehouse said that she was "very well" and was "very excited and very flattered" to be recognised at the ceremony.
Other winner’s included Radiohead, who won Best Album for their latest LP ‘In Rainbows’. Take That and Phil Collins were also presented with prizes at the Grosvenor Hotel.
The Ivor Novello awards traditionally recognise songwriting and composing.
