Duffy Matches Leona Lewis With American Chart Success

Duffy’s debut album ‘Rockferry’ has entered at number four on the Billboard Top-200 American album chart.

‘Rockferry’ topped the UK charts for six weeks when it was released earlier this year.

The singer is the latest British star to enjoy success in America after Leona Lewis topped the album chart earlier this year with her debut LP ‘Spirit’.

Lewis also became the first British Female to top the US singles countdown in two decades with ‘Bleeding Love’, which was first released last December.

Rihanna is currently number one on the Hot-100 singles chart with ‘Take A Bow’, which climbed from number 53 to number one.

    • Duffy is alright. Prefer Amy Winehouse. For me, Leona wins - her voice is just so so incredible!!!! ...and she sings with so much emotion and conviction. Sorry Duffy - nothing personal.
