Coldplay have confirmed that they will play a free show in Barcelona next month to coincide with the release of their new album.
The band will play at the Espacio Movistar on June 17th. Details about how to obtain tickets will be announced shortly.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the band will also play free shows in London and New York in June to celebrate the release of ‘Viva La Vida, which is out in the United Kingdom on June 12th.
The release of the album has been preceded by the single ‘Violet Hill’, which is currently at number eight in the UK charts.
The band released two new videos, including a politically charged one starring George Bush, for the song yesterday (May 20th). Both can be found by clicking here.
