Singer Tina Turner, who supposedly announced her retirement from touring eight years ago, is to return to the stage in the UK.
The singer will play four dates, two in London and a further two in Manchester, next March.
In a statement, Turner said she was inspired to take to the road again following her appearance alongside Beyonce at this years Grammys.
She said the response had been “overwhelming”, adding: "Everywhere I went people were asking me when I was going back on tour. So after a lot of thought and planning we announced an American tour.
"Now Europe beckons and I don't want to let down all my loyal fans over there. See you in the New Year."
Turner lasted toured in 2000, on what was billed as her farewell tour.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on May 28th and will be available through Gigwise.
