Wickerman Targets Mohican World Record At 2008 Festival

The Wickerman Festival will aim to set a new world record this year for gathering the most number of people with a Mohican hairstyle in one place at one time.

The world record attempt will be verified by Guinness World Records, who describe the Mohican as “A hairstyle which is notably longer in the middle section.”

This festival will take place on Scotland’s Solway Coast from July 25th-26th.

The attempt to break the record will take place at midday on the closing day of the festival, which is set to feature performances from Gary Numan, KT Tunstall and The Fall.
