Sir Elton John will receive $5.2million for a one hour performance, according to reports.
The singer is set to appear at a special private concert for a Russian businesswoman.
The fee, thought to be the biggest single show price for a solo-performer of all time, “was too much to refuse”, according an unnamed associate of the singer.
Sir Elton John will be flown to Russian in the autumn for the concert, reports the Sun.
