Weezer Team Up With Stars From Eastenders, Heroes And Strictly Come Dancing

Weezer’s River Cuomo took to the football pitch last weekend alongside a host of stars from stage and screen.

The singer was joined by Heroes’ actor Santiago Cabrera, Sean McGuire from Eastenders and Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli for the BritNight Showbiz Soccer Game in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Weezer have brought the UK release of their new album, entitled ‘Weezer’, forward to June 16th.

Known affectionately by fans as ‘The Red Album’, the band’s new LP is the first time all four members have claimed songwriting credits  and shared lead vocals.
