Norman Cook has “categorically” denied reports that he plans to retire his Fatboy Slim pseudonym.
A statement from the DJ’s record label says that the DJ plans to keep the name and is looking forward to his summer festival appearances.
Yesterday, Cook was quoted as saying that he was “ditching the Fatboy Slim name” in favour or a new one, which could possibly be Madonna.
“I’m going to take the Fifth Amendment on that question and not say because I’ll get myself into trouble,” he said.
Tickets for the Wireless Festival in London, which Cook is headlining on July 5th, are available through Gigwise here.
