Young Knives are back with new single ‘Turn Tail’ on May 19th and to celebrate Gigwise has landed a rather special prize for you readers.

Recently the band headed into the studio to record a live version of the song for the vinyl release. However, being the Young Knives, they choose to do things the traditional way which entailed them recording the strong straight onto vinyl using an old technique called ‘Lathe Cut.

Because nobody’s perfect, the band ended up making a number of recordings and Gigwise has managed to bag one of the outtakes – or off-cuts as they’re known in the business.

Therefore, this is your chance to own a special, unique Young Knives recording complete with hilarious gaffes and music - and it’s even been signed by the band as well.

  • This is an awesome thing the Young Knives are doing. I always pick up all their stuff on vinyl and can’t wait to hear the new single. Why is ’Voices’ counted as their first album when ’...are Dead’ pre-dates it and is available in the shops? It’s not like they should want to forget about it either as it’s amazing!
