Massive Attack duo Grant and D have revealed they’re backing Barack Obama for US President but don’t hold out much hope of him actually winning.
The pair believe the choice of the next President has already been made and that it won’t be the Democratic candidate taking up the role.
Grant told the Guardian: “There's no way the people with real power will let a black man run for President.”
He added that he believes Republican candidate John McCain will win, adding: “The Democratic race is a side-show.”
Massive Attack are currently curating the Meltdown Festival on London’s Southbank.
