Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger reportedly leapt to the defence of Adele when she dined with the star in London earlier this week.
Diners were apparently horrified when the teenage singer ate with her fingers during a lavish party held by Jagger’s daughter, Jade.
However, Jagger was said to be impressed by Adele’s eating habits, telling his daughter: “That girl is ace, man.”
According to today’s Sun newspaper, Jagger thought the singer was “refreshing”.
Adele, who was one of a host of guests at the Jagger Dagger event, said she “was really nervous” when she met the Rolling Stone.
“I wasn’t making any sense when I was talking to him but he was really charming,” she added.
