Singer Mariah Carey has made her first public appearance with husband Nick Cannon since it was confirmed that the pair had married last week.
The couple, who only met in March on the videoshoot for of Carey’s new single ‘Bye Bye’, appeared together at Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World gala in New York.
Carey, who is reported to have got a tattoo that says Mrs Cannon, performed at the Lincoln Centre ceremony.
The singer married actor Cannon during a private ceremony in the Bahamas at the end of April.
In an interview with American publication People earlier this week, Carey said that the couple felt like “soulmates”.
She also said that she “never felt a love like this was in the cards for me."
