Keane frontman Tom Chaplin says the band have been embracing the devil and gospel music during recording sessions for their new album.
Speaking to the Sun, Chaplin admitted that the pressure was on the group, who are recording the follow-up to ‘Under the Iron Sea’ in Berlin.
“Richard and Tim have been providing gospel-infused backing vocals but I’ve been ranting like Satan on some of the songs,” Chaplin said.
Chaplin also revealed that the band, who are famous for their piano infused pop gems, have introduced guitars.
“We’ve got huge, pounding concert drums, bongos and congas — and let’s not forget the guitars,” the singer said.
It’s not yet known when the as-yet-untitled album is scheduled for release.
