Zoe Ball came within inches of being hit by a car near her home in Hove yesterday (May 9th), her husband, DJ Fatboy Slim has revealed.
The DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, said the incident “could have been carnage”.
The cameraman who was filming Ball was treated for cuts and bruises when the car clipped him after the elderly female driver lost control.
"Zoe is totally okay, she is a little bit shaken but she is definitely not injured,” Cook said in a statement.
“She was filming a promo for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) at the end of our road. A woman came out of a parking space and appeared to lose control and careered into Zoe's cameraman.”
Cook is due to headline the third day of this year’s Wireless Festival in London on July 5th.
Tickets for the DJ’s performance are on sale now and available through Gigwise here.
