A number of tracks from the highly anticipated new Weezer album have appeared online over a month before it’s due to be released.
‘Troublemaker’, ‘The Greatest Man That Ever Lived (Variations on a Shaker Hymn)’ and ‘Pork and Beans’, are amongst eight songs which are circulating across the internet.
The band’s new album, entitled ‘Weezer’, isn’t scheduled for release until June 30th in the United Kingdom.
It will be preceded by the single ‘Pork and Beans’, which is out on June 23rd.
Weezer are the second band to suffer early album leaks this week.
On Tuesday, three unheard songs by Oasis - ‘Nothing On Me’, 'I Wanna Live A Dream (In My Record Machine)' and ‘Stop The Clocks’ – appeared online.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Oasis said the songs were “old” but wouldn’t confirm reports that they were set to appear on the group’s new album.
The tracklisting for Weezer’s new album is:
‘Troublemaker’
‘The Greatest Man That Ever Lived (Variations on a Shaker Hymn)’
‘Pork and Beans’
‘Heart Songs’
‘Everybody Get Dangerous’
‘Dreamin’’
‘Thought I Knew’
‘Cold Dark World’
‘Automatic’
‘The Angel and the One’
