Amy Winehouse Arrested In Connection With Drug Offences

Amy Winehouse has been arrested in connection with drug offences, her spokesperson has said.

The singer is currently being questioned at a police station in East London.

Reports suggest that the singer arrived at the police station by appointment.

Last month Winehouse was arrested and cautioned by Police after she admitted to slapping a man with an open hand.

The incident took place following a night out in the Camden area of London.

Following her arrest Winehouse's father, Mitch, called for his daugher to be sectioned in an interview with the News of the World.

The singer's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently being held in Pentonville prison on suspicion of assault and perverting the course of justice.

He is due to stand trial later this year.
