Mariah Carey 'Confirms Marriage To Actor Nick Cannon'

Mariah Carey has confirmed that she married actor Nick Cannon in a private ceremony in the Bahamas last Wednesday, a US magazine has claimed.

People, who were one of the first publications to report on the supposed marriage, have today (May 7th) published a wedding photo of the couple.

The magazine also quotes Carey saying that she feels like herself and Cannon are “soulmates” and that she “never felt a love like this was in the cards for me." 

Despite confirmation from the couple’s relatives, many stories about the marriage have maintained that the wedding was a publicity stunt for the singer’s new album.

Carey met Cannon at the end of March on the videoshoot for her new single ‘Bye Bye’.

At the beginning of last week she was seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger at a film festival in New York.
