Kylie Minogue kicked of her 2008 world tour last night (May 6th) with a sold out show in Paris.
Performing at the city’s Bercy Stadium, Minogue played a 28-song set which was packed full of her hits.
The singer also played a number of new songs from her latest album, ‘X’, which was released last year.
Despite a huge promotional campaign, the album has failed the capture the success of her previous efforts, particularly in America.
David Tennant, Matthew Horne and Oliver Martinez were all reported to have been in the crowd at last night’s show.
As previously reported, Minogue was made a Knight by the French Government “contribution to the enrichment of French culture” during a ceremony on Monday (May 5th).
