Beck is set to release a surprise new album within the next six weeks, according to reports.
The singer, who will appear at the Wireless Festival in London this July, has apparently collaborated with Cat Power on the record.
MTV also claim that the album has been produced by Danger Mouse.
Earlier this year, The Raconteurs rushed a new album out almost as soon as they had finished recording it in the studio.
‘Consolers of the Lonely’, which bypassed the usual press lead time, was made available on every format on the same day across the world.
