Kanye West Slams Critic Over Bad Review Of Concert

US rapper Kanye West has told a US music critic to never come to one of his shows again after a concert on his Glow in the Dark door was given a bad review.

The journalist, who rated West’s tour – which also features Rihanna and N*E*R*D – a B+, called the show in Seattle “the ultimate ego trip”.

“In space, no one can hear you scream, but if you’re West, everyone wil hear you self-actualise,” the Entertainment Weekly critic said.

Responding to the review on his blog, West said: “What's a B+ mean? I'm an extremist. It's either pass or fail! A+ or F-! You know what, **** you and the whole ****ing staff.“

West said that if somebody can’t enjoy themselves on his tour, the there’s “a good chance you’re a very miserable person.”

“Grab a drink, holla at some nice girls, and party bitch,” West said.
“You don't know shit about passion and art. You'll never gain credibility at this rate. You're ****ing trash.”

West also took offence to the reviewer, who is not named in the article, over comments made about his support acts.

The critic said that none of the acts managed to “maximize their potential”, adding that Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ “felt off”.

“I know I shouldn't dignify this with a comment, but the reviewer threw a jab at all the artists,” West responded. “I just wanna know when was the last time you enjoyed yourself.”

“Never come to one of my shows ever again, you're not invited and if you see me...BOW,” West concluded.

West’s tour, which also features Lupe Fiasco, continues tonight (May 5th) at the Ford Amphiteatre in Tampa, Florida.

As previously reported, West will headline this year’s Global Gathering Festival in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

    • Seriosuly Kanye...It’s reasonable that anyones kneee would jerk after a scathing review but you have to take the good with the bad. Fans are still going to love you.
