The British Government has launched a second attempt to ban US rapper Snoop Dogg from entering the country.
Immigration judges have twice overruled the UK Boarder Agency, who believe the rapper is not conducive to public order.
"We will continue to oppose the entry to the UK of individuals where we believe there may be a risk to the public,” the agency told the Guardian last night (May 1st).
The rapper, whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus, was denied entry to the UK in March 2007 just days before he was due to go on tour with fellow rapper P Diddy.
The Home Office withheld the rapper’s attempt for a visa following an altercation between his entourage and police at Heathrow Airport in 2006.
Last week, Judge George Warr said that “no material error of law” had been made at an earlier hearing which stated that the ban should be lifted.
The rapper’s lawyer, Phillip Trott, said the whole case had “been an appalling waste of public money”.
