And release date...

Dirty Pretty Things will release their much anticipated second album, ‘This Is Where The Truth Begins’, on June 30th, it’s been announced.

The band’s new album, which is the follow-up to their number three debut ‘Waterloo To Anywhere’, will be preceded by the single ‘Tired of England’.

The song will be released on June 23rd.

The band travelled to Los Angeles to record ‘This Is Where The Truth Begins’ at the end of 2007 alongside Nik Leman, Graeme Stewart and Ben Wood.

As previously reported, recording sessions were said to be a fraught affair and the band returned to London at the start of this year to tidy up production.

Earlier today, frontman Carl Barat accused Coldplay of “jumping on the bandwagon” by allowing fans to download their new single for free.

Dirty Pretty Things embark on a UK tour later this month. Tickets are on sale through Gigwise by clicking the Buy Tickets link.
