Pete Doherty will be freed from prison next Tuesday (May 6th) – after serving just 29 days of a 14 week sentence, it’s been reported.
The singer was jailed last month for breaking the conditions of his probation order and using drugs.
Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe told the Sun newspaper, who published the report, that “nobody should come out that early.”
Doherty was forced to postpone a solo show at the Royal Albert Hall last month because of his incarceration.
The singer is scheduled to headline the Park Stage at this years Glastonbury Festival.
