No one will be charged over the death of former Radio 1 DJ Kevin Greening, police have confirmed.
Toxicology tests have concluded that Greening, who was working for Smooth Radio at the time of his death, died last December from a drugs overdose.
A 51-year-old man who was arrested in relation to the death has been cautioned for possession of Class A substances - cocaine and ecstasy - and a Class C substance, cannabis.
Radio 1 controller Andy Parfitt, speaking at the time of Greening’s death, said he “respected him enormously.”
Greening was found dead in his South London home. An initial post-mortem failed to find the root cause of his death.
