Coldplay New Single: What's Your Verdict?

Coldplay’s eagerly anticipated new single ‘Violet Hill’ has been given its world premiere.

The song, which is the first track to be taken from their fourth album ‘Viva La Vida’, is now available as a free download from the bands website.

Fans will be able to download the song for a week ahead of its digital release.

We want to know what you think of the new Coldplay song.

‘Viva La Vida’, which has been produced by Brian Eno, will be released on June 12th.

More clunking, overrated music from Coldplay. Coldplay now own the space known as ’dad rock’... 3 years away has led to no creative spark. Coldplay have lost their musical muse. Not that they ever had one in the first place. Brian Eno is trying to utilise U2 sound techniques on this single. It has failed to deliver because Chris Martin’s voice is drowned out by the wall of sound...

I’ve always had a bit of a Guilty Pleasures spot for Coldplay but this is very dull.
