Over one hundred thousand people took part in the thirtieth anniversary of Rock Against Racism in London last weekend, organisers have revealed.
The event, which was organised by the Love Music Hate Racism Campaign, featured a performance from The Good, The Bad and The Queen.
As well as commemorating the anniversary of the original RAR carnival, which also included an Anti-Nazi League march, the event was staged to coincide with this weeks London local elections.
Performances in Victoria Park last Sunday also came from Hard-Fi and Helsinki, the side-project of Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell.

As previously reported, the Carnival was only able to go ahead following a donation from former Smiths star Morrissey.
The singer stepped in to help make up a £75,000 deficit that was left when the event’s major sponsor pulled out.
