Radiohead Pay Tribute To Jazz Legend Humphrey Lyttelton

Radiohead have paid tribute to the influential jazz musician Humphrey Lyttelton who died last Friday (April 25).

The band worked with the celebrated trumpeter on ‘Life in a Glasshouse’, the ultimate track on their 2001 album ‘Amnesiac.’

Speaking on the band’s Dead Air Space, Jonny Greenwood wrote: “We were all sorry to hear of Humphrey Lyttleton's death - he was an inspiring person to record with, and without his direction, we'd never have recorded/released 'Life in a Glasshouse'.

“So go and find 'Bad Penny Blues', and celebrate his life with some hot jazz......”

Lyttelton still toured well into his eighties and was the producer to the popular Radio show ‘I’m Sorry I Haven’t Got A Clue.’ He died, aged 86, following surgery.
