Amy Winehouse has recorded a song for the next James Bond film, according to her producer Mark Ronson.
Speaking to the BBC, Ronson said that Winehouse was amongst a number of artists competing for the coveted role.
"Hopefully it will get used. But I don't think we’ve been guaranteed it, so we're working on it and we'll see happens,” Ronson explained.
The producer revealed that the demo the pair had recorded together already “sounds like a James Bond Theme”.
“I'm not sure, but hopefully I'll still be alive for at least twelve more Bond themes,” Ronson added. “If we don't get this one maybe we'll get another one."
As previously reported, Winehouse was cautioned by police in London on Saturday (April 26th) after she admitted to striking a man with an open hand.
The latest Bond film, entitled the Quantum of Solace, will once again feature Daniel Craig as James Bond.
The film is scheduled for release worldwide on November 7th.
