Bon Jovi Concert Delayed Following Bomb Scare

Bon Jovi were forced to delay a concert in Florida on Saturday (April 26th) by three hours because of a bomb scare.

Local police received a telephoned bomb threat shortly before the concert was due to begin at the BankAtlantic Center.

According to authorities, the caller claimed that two bombs would go off during the band’s show.

The building was immediately evacuated to allow police sniffer dogs to search the venue for signs of anything suspicious.

Concertgoers were eventually allowed back in to the venue shortly before 9pm after police had given the all clear.

i was there at 5:30pm and got in at 9:30...sign.. that sucked. but was so worth the wait.

I was there. Sure it was a little frustrating but at least the show went on and they sang their faces off for us. They were quick to thank the local authorities law enforcement, etc. A real class act! Best show I have seen in a long time. Daughtry was also fabulous...although his show was cut a little short. He did come out and sing with Bon Jovi which Rocked!!

Bon Jovi rocked! The wait sucked, mostly because there were no announcements. We had to call home and have someone google it for any information. By the time we got in to the arena we only heard 2 Daughtry tunes, so that was a dissappointment. It was still totally worth it for this old New Jersey girl!

@Gigwise It's because the only way they could get Dave Rowntree to play the drums was to hypnotise him. Too strenuous otherwise, poor chap.
