Super producer Mark Ronson called on some of the biggest names in his celebrity phonebook for his Coachella Festival performance yesterday (April 27th).
Taking to the stage just as the festival was hotting up, Ronson was joined by Kasier Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson for his cover version of ‘Oh My God’.
Later, singer Tim Burgess joined the producer for his take on The Charlatan’s ‘The Only One I Know’.
A host of other names, including Jamie Reynolds of Klaxons, singer Candie Payne and Charlie Waller from The Rumble Strips also joined Ronson for his thirteen song set.
The majority of Ronson’s setlist borrowed songs from his recent covers album, ‘Versions’, which has enjoyed massive chart success in the US and the UK.
The producer’s performance came shortly before Pink Floyd’s Rogers Waters, who used his Coachella set to deliver a strong political message.
