Coldplay have announced details of two massive free shows in London and New York in June.
The shows, in support of their new album ‘Viva La Vida’, will take place at Brixton Academy in London on June 12th and New York’s Madison Square Garden on June 16th.
Tickets for the shows will only be available to win via the bands website. No tickets will go on sale at the venues.
The band have also revealed that ‘Violet Hill’, the first single from the album, will be available to fans as a free download from 12.15pm tomorrow (April 29th).
The song will only be available for a week before it goes on sale as a digital release.
Coldplay’s fourth album ‘Viva La Vida’ will now be released in the UK four days earlier than planned (June 12th) to bring it into line with global release dates.
