Amy Winehouse Declared 'Unfit' For Questioning

Amy Winehouse has spent the night in a cell after police revealed she was unfit to be interviewed.

As previously reported on Gigwise the troubled singer was arrested yesterday (April 25) over an alleged assault in London on Wednesday (April 23).

She voluntarily attended a police station in central London for questioning but police were forced to delay any enquiries on the advice of a doctor.

A spokesman said: "The doctor has seen the 24-year old woman and has said that she is not fit to be interviewed.
 
"That means that we cannot deal with her for at least four hours and until the doctor has seen her again."
