A new art exhibition which features paintings by Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty launched in Paris yesterday.
It’s the second major display of Doherty’s artwork, which is constructed using the singers own blood.
The exhibition, at the Chappe Gallery in the Montmartre district of the city, features 30 blood paintings, including one of his former girlfriend Kate Moss, entitled ‘Miss Moss Reclines’.
According to the Daily Mail, Doherty was meant to attend the opening of the exhibition but had to pull out following his incarceration in prison.
The singer is currently serving a 14 week sentence at Wormwood Scrubs after he broke the conditions of his probation order.
As a result, Doherty has been forced to pull out of a solo show at the Royal Albert Hall later this month.
The singer’s exhibition will run in Paris until May 11th.
