Former Clash star Mick Jones has revealed that his new band Carbon/Silicon have written a song inspired by the subjugation of university student Andrew Meyer.
Meyer was infamously tasered by police at the University of Florida last year when he attempted to ask U.S. Senator John Kerry a question during an open discussion.
His desperate calls to police of “Don’t tase me…bro”, which can be heard in the video below, went on to become an internet sensation last year, spawning t-shirts and other merchandise.
Speaking to Reuters, Jones branded the incident “disgusting”, before describing exactly how the song would sound.
“It's gonna go like this, dun-dun-dun ... Aaaargh!" Jones said.
