The Strokes Break Silence Over Fourth Album

The Strokes have revealed that they are on the verge of beginning work on their fourth album.

Writing on the band’s official website, bassist Nikolai Fraiture said: "I'd like to say that I'm still looking very forward to a fourth album release.

“We just need to work out a few technical kinks."

The Strokes last album, ‘First Impressions Of Earth’, was released in 2006 and was followed by an extensive world tour.

In his message, Fraiture added that the band’s long break since the last tour had been “much needed for us to remain together as a productive band”.

As previously reported, The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr is due to release his second solo album, ‘Como Te Llama’, later this year.
