Dizzee Rascal has recorded a new song dedicated to a close friend who committed suicide some years back.
The award-winning British rapper is releasing the song, entitled ‘Dean’, as a video download on May 19.
All proceeds from the release will go to the charity CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably) to help them to set up a new phone centre helping young men.
In the emotional song, Dizzee sings: "Death hits all of us one day/ I wish I never had to hear your spirit run away.
"Your death was ****ed up/ Because it weren't anticipated.
"I heard they found your body in three parts/ You left behind a lot of broken hearts.
"Sometimes I hate this ****ing world there ain't no denying it/ 'Coz living life ain't easy but I'm still trying."
