The Pet Shop Boys will play an exclusive one off show in London next month in honour of their former assistant Dainton Connell, who died last year.
The band’s show, at Heaven on May 2nd, will feature a collaboration with Suggs and Carl from Madness.
Connell, who died in a car crash in Moscow last year, was a close friend of the Pet Shop Boys and had appeared in a number of videos with them.
The Pet Shop Boys appearance will form part of Can You Bear It?, a house music event which boasts some of the most high profile House DJs in the world.
Danny Rampling, Judge Jules, Terry Farley, Nicky Holloway, Brandon Block, Dave Dorrell and Tall Paul are all scheduled to perform.
All the proceeds from the night will go to Connell’s family. For more information, check out our Gig Guide.
