Velvet Revolver are to launch a new website to audition a new singer for the band, according to guitarist Slash.
"The band is actually talking about building a Web site [and] doing some auditions via that, so that's been something that's developing at this point," he told Billboard.
Velvet Revolver have been left without a singer since Scott Weiland’s acrimonious departure shortly after their recent European tour.
In a statement earlier this month, the band said that he had been asked to leave because of his lack of commitment to the group.
However, Weiland has since gone on to reform with his original band the Stone Temple Pilots.
Although Slash wouldn't say when the new site would be launched, he revealed that special guests would join them at an upcoming show in Las Vegas.
"I'm not gonna name any names, but a bunch of well-known people will get up and sing some songs, and then also bring up a couple people that we think are pretty good and might sing a couple songs," he said.
