Following an intense two days of competition, it was Skyhorse who came out on top at Gigwise’s Camden Crawl Indie Idle over the weekend.
The unsigned London band proved most popular with the judging panel on Saturday (April 19th), despite strong performances from fellow finalists Ice. Sea. Dead People and My Name Is Red.
All three bands made it through to the live final following Friday’s heats at the Devonshire Arms where the ten semi-finalists were broken down by our judges.
As part of their prize, Skyhorse went on to headline Bar Monsta in Camden later in the evening.
The band will now spend two days at the Strongroom studios recording their debut release, which will be limited to 1000 copies.
Thanks to everyone, including the bands, who came down to make the competition such a success.
You can see all the action from the Camden Crawl, including Enter Shikari’s secret gig, now in our gallery section.
