¡Forward, Russia! have promised to reschedule their Newcastle gig after cancelling the show last night.
The band were due to play the city’s Academy 2 venue, but pulled out after doctors advised singer Tom to rest his voice.
A statement on the band’s website reads, “We are sorry to inform you that tonight's show in Newcastle is POSTPONED - due to Tom suffering from voice / throat problems.
”He was able to complete the set yesterday in Dundee, but doctors have decided that it would be unwise to play tonight. Currently we plan to continue the shows from Sunday's date in Liverpool.
”Once again, we send our apologies. Please hang on to tickets as we plan to reschedule the show shortly.”
