Joy Division are being gratned the ultimate honour – they’re having a MP3 player named after them.
The now defunct post-punk pioneers are being celebrated by those nice people at Microsoft, who are desperate to grab the cool kids after from the omni-present iPod and towards their new Zune player instead.
According to a report on Wired, the Zune Joy Division edition will feature the artwork from the band’s seminal band's 'Unknown Pleasures' album.
It will hit shops in America on 10 June, to coincide with the DVD release of Grant Gee's Joy Division documentary.
