Make Model - 'The LSB'

Just what is it about Glasgow that spawns bands who just know how to write a good guitar riff? First it was Franz Ferdinand, then their old pals the 1990s and now it seems Glaswegian six-piece Make Model are ready to pick up the baton. If you haven’t already guessed, new single ‘LSB’ is powered by an attention grabbing guitar part which pulls you in and doesn’t let you go until you’re dancing like a complete idiot.

While much of their material is inspired more by folk music, ‘LSB’ is an unashamed piece of pop brilliance – with call-to-arms vocals and a drumbeat that sounds like a group volunteering for the frontline. The question is whether you’ll be there with them.
