Paul Weller and Girls Aloud will host two special concerts at Osbourne House on the Isle of Wight this summer, it’s been announced.
The gigs, on July 26th and 27th, will take place in the vast grounds of the property, which used to be Queen Victoria’s residence on the island.
Weller said that he was “very much looking forward” to headlining the opening night, with Girls Aloud closing the event.
The concerts bring the number of high profile music events on the island to three.
The Isle of Wight Festival in June and Bestival in September are already two major music attractions on the island.
Tickets for the concert go on sale on Monday (April 21st) and will be available through Gigwise.
