Otis Ferry, the son of Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry, has been charged with attacking and robbing two female hunt saboteurs.
The 25-year-old is alleged to have pulled a video camera from the hands of the women during a hunt in Gloucestershire last year.
The two women were filming the Heythrop Hunt near Chipping Norton as part of an investigation into possible breaches of the UK hunting ban.
Ferry, who is known to be opposed to the ban, was arrested he following day at his home in Shrewsbury.
He is due to appear before Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on May 7th.
The Heythrop hunt rides in Conservative leader David Cameron’s constituency of Witney.
The Tory leader has often ridden with the hunt in the past.
