Pete Wentz Denies He's Set To Become A Father

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has denied reports that he and his fiancé, Ashlee Simpson, are expecting their first child.

Responding to claims made by two US magazines, Wentz said that there is “a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood.”

"This is all news to me,” he added, in an emailed response to MTV News.

“I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. ... I mean really, this is crazy. ... I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."

OK! Magazine and US Weekly had both referred to unnamed sources in their stories about Simpson’s supposed pregnancy.

The reports come just days after Wentz and Simpson confirmed their engagement.
