The Futureheads front man Barry Hyde is considering playing T In The Park in July, despite the fact he’s due to get married the following day.
Hyde scheduled his wedding to Dananananaykroyd‘s bassist Laura Donaghey for the 13th July so it didn’t clash with the Scottish festival, only to have his plans scuppered when T In The Park changed their dates.
He tells the Daily Record, “Laura and I actually purposely chose July 13th as the date for the wedding, so that it wouldn't clash with T in the Park. But the festival's dates have been brought forward a week this year and, when it was announced, we were just gutted.
"Laura would love me to play it, too, and she would probably want to come and watch. But I guess that might cause a few problems, as we're not supposed to see each other the night before the wedding. It would have to be separate tents!
"I'm really not sure what to do for the best. But I guess playing a festival the night before you get married would be an amazing stag night.
"We are still talking about it and trying to make it work but it is a bit of a logistical nightmare.”
